I will capture the beauty in your daily family moments so that you can remember them even as life changes. Award-winning documentary family photography
I am a professionally trained, award-winning photographer ranked as a top ten photographer in the UK - so you are in safe hands! I love documenting people’s lives. You don’t have to worry about being ‘picture perfect’ … whether that’s the house, how your kids will be on the day, your outfit. Whether it’s messy or not (and most likely it is if my experience of parenting is anything to go by) it deserves to be seen and remembered and I will do that with the thoughtfulness, care and attention it deserves.
Why documentary family photography?
You have loads of photos on your phone, but they don’t reflect the crazy, emotional and beautiful moments of your family life. You have bought a school photo or a studio shoot but they don’t convey the unique character of your kids and the intensity of your relationship. My photos will show all of that and the beauty of it is that I will simply join you where you are and no travel, posing, or “good behaviour” is required. It’s all about the real you and I promise it will be beautiful!
So how does it work?
STEP 1
We connect, make sure we are a good fit. If you decide to work with me I will book you in and we will schedule a consultation to have a deeper conversation about what to expect on the day.
STEP 2
We hang out and I will take pictures. It will be fun! You don't need to dress up, tidy up, pose or be on best behaviour.
STEP 3
Within a few weeks of your shoot you will receive your lovingly curated and edited slideshow and password protected gallery of your images. Once you have fallen in love with your photos, you can choose your digital files, prints or albums.
