Award-winning Family Photography

Hi, I’m Ana

Here’s a little bit about me

North London family photographer

Where it started…

I first fell in love with photography while travelling. In my twenties I went to work in Egypt for three months, and took a little point and shoot and couldn’t get enough of it. This obsession eventually led to a master’s in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography. Along the way I started photographing families and never looked back. Children are wonderfully unguarded, and their natural ease and beauty as they move through the world is just addictive to photograph. I also love capturing the honesty and tenderness in the way families interact.

Where it’s at…

I started photographing families before I had kids myself, but I now have two wild ones of my own (a boy and a girl) with my partner. They are also often the subjects of my photos. I juggle parenthood and my work - in between I sometimes manage to get to other things that bring me joy, such as playing the cello and reading a good book. I used to dance a lot and am trying to reintegrate tango into my life. Before having kids I travelled to Buenos Aires to tango and take photos (best holiday ever…). If anyone is going tango dancing let me know!

Get in touch! I’d love to chat!
