A recent family photography session in Hoxton captured a lovely afternoon with a one-and-a-half-year-old boy and his parents, combining relaxed indoor family photography with outdoor portraits around Columbia Road and the local playground. These kinds of sessions are perfect for documenting family life naturally, especially during the toddler years when personality and curiosity shine through in every moment.

We began the session at the family’s home, where we captured quiet, candid moments together in a familiar and comfortable setting. After spending time indoors, we headed out into the neighbourhood near Columbia Road Flower Market. The streets around Columbia Road are ideal for family photography in East London, offering colourful backdrops, beautiful textures, and a relaxed atmosphere that works especially well for young children who like to explore freely.

Part of the session also took place in a local playground, where the little boy could run around, climb, and enjoy time with his parents.
